Who we are
JAZZ HANDS DANCE AND MUSICAL THEATRE is a fun, modern dance and musical theatre environment with a focus on performance. Our choreography focuses on a range of modern dance styles, all with a musical theatre twist. All ages and abilities are welcome and nurtured through weekly classes and annual showcase performances at local theatres. What we do
Our weekly term-time dance classes are adapted to suit the age and dance preferences of the individuals within the group. Some young people prefer more ballet-based and lyrical dance while others prefer classical jazz or street dance. Many just don’t know yet! We explore the basic forms of many popular dance styles in order to find our comfort zone. And once comfortable, we encourage JAZZ HANDERS to discover new styles or genres, culminating in interesting and dynamic routines that are performed as part of our annual showcase.
Hourly classes are just £5 per person per class and are payable in advance at the start of each term. Payment plans can be arranged if necessary as we are committed to being affordable and accessible. 10% discounts for additional siblings and multiple classes are also available.
